Moss
Worked on a project with my buddy Rick for The Nature Conservancy. We photographed The Edge of Appalachia Nature Preserve to chronicle a year in time and how it changes through the seasons. On a winter day while walking through the woods the color of this bed of moss stood out against the general brown that winter in Ohio brings, I sat by the moss with a macro lens and started shooting. I slowly started to pull back to get a look at it from further away and felt like it was a canvas all its own.
